Memorial Day - Honoring those we lost.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Flag Etiquette

According to the U.S. Flag Code (Section 7(m)):

  • The flag should be flown at half-staff from sunrise until noon.

  • At noon, the flag should be raised briskly to full-staff and remain there until sunset.

What It Symbolizes:

  • Half-staff honors the fallen in the morning.

  • Full-staff in the afternoon signifies that their sacrifice is not in vain and that the nation lives on with resolve.

“Won’t Be for Nothing” by Sailor Jerri is a powerful Memorial Day anthem—written not just to honor veterans, but to remember those who never made it home. It’s a reminder that their sacrifice wasn’t for us to live in silence or sorrow, but to live fully. Memorial Day isn’t just about mourning—it’s about celebrating the freedom they gave their lives for. So be thankful, be reflective, but most of all—go LIVE.
